Jurisdictions with eligible NOIs are invited by Cal OES to submit a competitive subapplication via FEMA’s web-based Mitigation Electronic Grants (eGrants) Management System. The State will score, rank and prioritize subapplications and submit the highest ranked plans and projects for national review.

Jurisdictions with approved NOIs must submit their subapplications no later than Monday, December 3, 2018, via eGrants to Cal OES. The eGrants application website opens Monday, October 1, 2018.

A list of airports that meet the criteria for "priority consideration" can be found on the AIP site: https://www.faa.gov/airports/aip/aip_supplemental_appropriation/. The only airport located in Los Angeles County meeting priority consideration is the Long Beach / Daughterty Field Airport.

For requests for supplemental funding in FY 2019 or 2020, any eligible National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS) airport is invited to notify the FAA's appropriate ADO (or RO if there is no ADO) of its interest to be considered for supplemental discretionary funding for FY 2019 or 2020. The FAA will update the list of airports eligible for “priority consideration” after publishing the next update of the NPIAS Report, which the FAA plans to publish in September 2018.
