Summary
Community Compass Technical Assistance and Capacity Building grants are intended to support grantees that will provide effective technical assistance (TA) and capacity building to other HUD funding recipients, enabling them to successfully implement and sustain HUD programs and policies. Community Compass is designed to help HUD’s customers navigate complex housing and community development challenges by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, tools, capacity, and systems to implement HUD programs and policies successfully. Potential Community Compass technical assistance and capacity building activities include the following: needs assessments, direct TA, development of tools and training, self-directed and group learning, data analysis and research activities, and regulatory and policy implementation support.
