This program seeks to achieve near-term emission reductions of nitrogen oxide (NOx), particulate mater (PM) and reactive organic gases by promoting the deployment of low-emission heavy- and medium-duty engine technologies. Program provides incentive funding for projects that utilize alternate fuel, engine retrofits, and/or low-emission technologies in two categories: 1) on-road heavy-duty vehicles and 2) off-road heavy-duty engines. |
