|
The purpose of this program is to meet the educational and career training needs of workers who have lost their jobs or are threatened with job loss as a result of foreign trade. The goal of this program is to increase attainment of degrees, certificates, diplomas, and other industry-recognized credentials, introduce or replicate effective methods for designing and delivering instruction, and demonstrate improved employment outcomes. Supported projects must engage employers, regional industry organizations, national industry organizations, state and local workforce boards, and education and economic development entities. This final round of funding is focused on innovative, sector-based system change in regional and statewide economies. |
